Leaders of Tomorrow is celebrating its 4th Annual Essay Writing Contest with a new introductory title:

How will Green Energy save our planet?

In recent years many new sources of energy have been developed to replace fossil fuel. Some of them are known as renewable energy, clean energy or green energy depending on their origin. At today’s technological level are these energy sources really economically viable? Since oil and gas are still the cheapest to extract from the ground can we continue to use them without creating a greenhouse effect? Looking down the road what will be the best course of action to save our planet? What steps must we take now? Will conservation help to bridge the gap until we come up with a more permanent solution? What are the best ways to stop pollution?

School principals and/or teachers are encouraged to request the Peel Regional Police or an authoritative speaker to do a presentation on the topic of Green Energy at your school. Not only will the students learn about the environmental impact of the implementation of green energy in the world but will also find good material for the essay writing contest. Leaders of Tomorrow will gladly co-ordinate with you to set up a date and time for a presentation. Early booking is advisable to secure your preferred date. To book a presentation, email pierre@leadersoftomorrow.ca.
